Marney Yeates

Marney graduated from Flinders University in 1991 and commenced working with children immediately. During the fifteen years spent working as a speech pathologist for the Department for Education (DfE) in Adelaide, she developed a wealth of experience in working in preschool and primary school settings.

Co-founding TALK in 2000, Marney loves to create evidence based, fun and motivating therapy interventions for children to engage in and particularly enjoys literacy work with those who struggle to take off in the junior primary years. Marney now works out of Stella Maris Parish School in Seacombe Gardens and she appreciates the importance of parent and teacher liaison when setting speech, language and literacy goals for children.

When not practising speech pathology she loves to connect with her family and friends.
