Alex Temme

Alex has over 20 years of clinical experience as a Speech Pathologist. He is a passionate clinician who has enjoyed working with families and children across a number of settings including community clinics, disability sector, hospital, childcare centres and preschools.

Alex has extensive experience and a special interest in speech & language difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, preschool stuttering, school-age stuttering, late-talkers and key word signing. Alex’s sessions are goal focussed and he brings fun and a sense of humour to his practice.

Alex is a Certified Practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. He is trained in the Lidcombe Program for management of preschool stuttering, Bringing Up Great Kids, Circle of Security Parenting, Marte Meo & PROMPT (a ‘hands-on’ approach to improving speech clarity). He is certified in the following Hanen Programs- It Takes Two to Talk (language delay in children 0-5 years), Target Word (late-talkers), More Than Words (Autism Spectrum Disorder & social communication difficulties) & Talkability (people skills for verbal children with Autism Spectrum Disorder).

Outside of work he is kept busy with his wife & 3 young children.
