Alex Temme

Alex is a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist who has been working with children since graduating from Flinders University in 1999. He has enjoyed working with families and children across a number of settings including community clinics, disability sector, hospital, childcare centres and preschools. 

Alex has extensive experience and a special interest in speech & language difficulties, Autism, Global Developmental Delay, late-talkers and key word signing. Alex’s sessions are goal focussed and he brings fun and a sense of humour to his practice. 

Alex is a Certified Practising member of Speech Pathology Australia. He is trained in Bringing Up Great Kids, Circle of Security Parenting and Marte Meo. He is certified in the following Hanen Programs- It Takes Two to Talk (language delay in children 0-5 years), Target Word (late-talkers), More Than Words (social communication intervention for autistic children) & Talkability (intervention for autistic children who are speaking in sentences and having conversations). 

Alex works from TALK’s Marion office. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 sons.
